The
Farm’s Outreach
Programme As an educational resource the Warriner School
Farm
offers a safe environment for children to experience a commercial farm.
There are opportunities all year round to meet and handle livestock,
watch farm machinery at work, find out about conservation and land use, and learn
at first hand where food comes from. As
part of the programme, we offer a range of craft workshops delivered either here
at the farm, or in your own school if preferred.
Workshops can be arranged to suit a school’s specific requirements and
vary in duration from a basic one-hour session to an entire day. The Warriner School Farm welcomes visits from other schools, community and pre-school groups. Pricing structure for Visits: (2011-2012) Because of funding from a number of projects of which we are now part, we are now able to offer free visits to most groups. (Where charging is necessary the prices below are a guide only and may be subject to change.) Visits

Whilst a visit to the farm provides a memorable experience to all concerned, we realise that for some schools, problems such as prohibitive transport costs or timetabling issues make these trips unrealistic. We are, therefore, delighted to be able to offer visits to you, in your own school, arranged to specifically meet your needs. Visits
